EUROCONTROL is the European Organisation for Air Navigation Security. The organisation includes civil and military organisations presently holding 38 member states. EUROCONTROL’s mission is to harmonize and integrate air navigation services in Europe to achieve a consistent air traffic management (ATM) for civil and military users with the aim to secure a safe, orderly, expeditious and economic flow of traffic throughout Europe, while minimising adverse environmental impact.

The achievement of this aim is a significant element in the present and future challenges, which the in-dustry is facing in conjunction with the increasing flow of traffic, still to be secure, cost efficient and with respect for the environment.

EURONTROL develops, co-ordinates and plans the provision of strategic Pan European air traffic control on short, medium and long term and develops plans in co-operation with the national legislators, air traf-fic control providers, airports, the industry, various organisations and relevant European institutions.

EUROCONTROL’s main tasks are to provide gate-to-gate air traffic control through strategic and tactical flow management and the education criteria for development of technologies, procedures and charges of fees for air traffic service providers.

Our participation:
Naviair participates in the consulting organs and in a number of forums against having an impact on the striving for harmonization and on future procedures as well as technique for supporting the European air traffic control.
